21st Century Skills
It is fundamentally important for children to build the skills we need to become independent, creative, problem-solving adults. Collectively we call these the 21st century skills. This is why, we have designed BAKOBA. To keep children playing. For hours and hours and years to come. We’ve constructed each element of BAKOBA in a way that they can be combined in unlimited ways. BAKOBA is made, for children to continuously develop theirs motor skills and ignite imagination. Through collaborative plays and group plays of BAKOBA, children get the opportunities to develop useful social-psychological soft-skills e.g. team-work, leadership and self-expression.
Open-ended Play
We are big supporters of "open-ended play" and therefore we have developed a "Connector", which makes it possible to combine BAKOBA with many other toys. Connectors are included in all boxes, making it easy for the kids to combine and explore in endless ways. It is important to us that our toys do not set boundaries, but instead create endless possibilities - also across the children's other toys. That way, we are convinced that the children will have the best play experience possible!
Water Play
You can play with BAKOBA in many ways and water play is one of them. BAKOBA is the perfect toy to bring to the bath, swimming pool or even to the beach or lake. It is a super fun activity for the kids to experiment with their construction's ability to float in the water! The building blocks do not absorb the water and will therefore dry quickly afterwards.
